Generally there are no side effects. Most commonly, it may leave temporary cup marks on the skin, which usually happens in the first one or two treatment sessions. The marks will gradually subside and disappear within one to two weeks. Some of the many ailments that cupping can help are: sports injuries, neuromuscular conditions, sinus pressure, TMJD, scars and stretch marks, orthopedic conditions, cellulite reduction, myofascial release, migraines, constipation, fibromyalgia, skin rejuvenation, etc.
